Sam Samuels, Founder of Furniture Fusion explains: “The brief was simple - the interior had to match the history and elegance of The Grosvenor Hotel, yet it also needed to be stylish, to go with the atmosphere of a convivial Parisian bistro concept.”

Furniture Fusions involvement was essential in specifying the right products for the right areas. They share their views on the selection of products:

“The lounge area is a mix and match of colour - blue, green and pink upholstery work perfectly together, and together, creates a harmonious look, perfect for any lounge area. Round poufs worked as a great pop of colour in the space and we see a rising demand for funky, modern and practical poufs in in a contract environment.”

“The bar area consists of the Candy and Merano bar stools, both ideal for bar seating thanks to their comfort and mix of classic and modern style.”

“Bespoke side chairs and armchairs, as well as, Merano side chairs, are dotted around the main dining area and we love the mix of tables. Square and round, beech and concrete, dining and poseur height, we supplied it all.”

“Velvet’s mix beautifully with vibrant pinks, tweeds, wood with steel and concrete and the overall feel is very tactile, warm and welcoming. The Soak is the place to be in Victoria, enjoying the food, drinks, live music and amazing atmosphere. We made some bespoke dining chairs for the project and one challenge is always translating a perfect drawing into a product that someone will find comfortable.”

We have worked on a number of projects for GLH Hotels and collaborating with the internal design team on the new restaurant at the prestigious Grosvenor Hotel, The Soak, was another great experience.”
